Michael Bluestein

Michael is an experienced business lawyer with close to 17 years of experience; his strengths include driving for results, strategic thinking and superior client service. Michael’s goal is to provide clients with practical solutions to problems while being cognizant of turn-around time and budget.

Michael has a strong background in M&A (purchase and sale of businesses) and corporate finance deals including helping companies incorporate, complete angel/vc financings, complete secured financings and achieve their IPOs. He has advised numerous public companies and helped to create two new stock exchange from the ground up. Michael also has extensive tech company experience from his counsel roles as well as from founding a tech start-up.

Michael is also a director of the Canadian Securities Exchange and the chair of the Regulatory Advisory Committee of the Board.

Michael’s goal is to provide Big Firm expertise and service without the high price. He feels that clients should pay for great advice and not fancy overheads.
